Lake Havasu State Park

New Dock Project Work Starts February 22, 2010

Work will begin at the south ramp area with the partial removal of the existing docks. Work will be on-going concurrently with the brand new dock at the Windsor 4 area. When the entire south ramp area closes in early March, the public will still have access to the lake at the north dock which can accomodate any size watecraft. On March 5 the Windsor 1/PWC ramp will re-open for jet boats and personal watercraft. Windsor Beach Rentals will re-open on March 5th for boat rentals. Please Check here for the latest updates.



Lake Havasu State Park offers many water recreation activities. Located within Lake Havasu City, it is a great place to spend the day.

The scenic shoreline of Lake Havasu State Park is an ideal place to enjoy beautiful beaches, nature trails, boat ramps, and convenient campsites. This spot is truly a watersport haven located near the famous London Bridge of Lake Havasu City.

The park offers 3 boat ramps, 47 campsites, a special events area (not available on holiday weekends), picnic area, and beach area. The Mohave Sunset Trail (1.5 miles) winds its way through the lowland desert and along the shoreline.

The Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden showcases the diverse life that exists within the park and this area of the desert. Birds, lizards, and desert cottontails are common sights.

2010 Events

A Weekend Bass Tournament takes place most weekends. The weigh in times vary but generally start around 3 pm.

March 5-7, 2010: Bluegrass on the Beach at Windsor 4, Camping and Bluegrass music 10am to dusk with vendors, food, beer. This is a paid admission event for the concert and the camping.

March 12-14, 2010: Boat show and displays at Windsor 4, many boat manufacturors with vessels of all sizes, USGC Aux booth,vendors, beer garden. Free admission to the area

March 20, 2010: Trianthlon at windsor 4 area, see many athletes compete in the water, running and biking on land. More info at www.tucsonracing.com External Link
