Arizona State Parks Board Meeting Wednesday, May 19, 2010

(Phoenix, AZ - May 18, 2010) - The Arizona State Parks Board will meet on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 starting at 10 am at the headquarters of Arizona State Parks at 1300 West Washington Avenue in Phoenix, AZ. The meeting is open to the public and the Agenda/Board recommendations are posted at http://azstateparks.com/board.

The Board will give updates on revenue forecasts, operating budgets, park visitation and cash flow by fund. The Board will also consider agreements with local partners to keep the following Parks from closing on June 3: Alamo Lake, Lost Dutchman, Picacho Peak, Red Rock, and Roper Lake. A concession contract for Dead Horse Ranch State Park and recommendations for fee changes at Kartchner Caverns will be also presented. The next board meeting is scheduled for June 15-16, 2010.
